Minister of Health Ginette Petitpas Taylor says the federal government has no intention of including a tax on sugary drinks in the Liberal Party's fall election platform, despite a call from MPs in her own party to do just that.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government has no intention of introducing a tax on sugary beverages to fight obesity, despite calls from within the party to make the initiative part of the Liberal platform.
